At COFFEE HOUSE, we typically offer a dinner buffet. On Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2020, we’ll be adding special items to the menu, including exclusive desserts and Valentine’s Day celebration dishes, to make the evening even more special for couples. What exactly are these celebration dishes? Let’s take a closer look below!
Poached Salmon in Consomme
Consommé? There’s a touch of Japan in there! Yes, indeed. This dish was inspired by the local chef, who has worked at a Japanese hotel. It’s a light and refreshing preparation featuring salmon and a variety of colorful vegetables.
Barbecued Smokey Lamb (スモーキーラムのバーベキュー)：
The tender, bone-in lamb is delicious! The colorful vegetables are sure to whet your appetite.
Grilled Beef with Spicy Mongolian Sauce
Roasted Chicken with Percik Sauce
Baked Cajun Chicken Drumsticks (焼きケイジャンチキンドラムスティック)
Wow! It’s so drool-worthy just looking at it! I’d happily have several!
Claypot Lamb Briyani (クレイポットラムブリヤニ):
For those who love Malaysia’s B-class street food, Claypot Rice is a familiar favorite. It’s also my husband’s go-to dish. Here, they serve it in mini claypots, and while chicken is the usual choice, the lamb version here is on another level! Briyani is a spiced rice dish originally from Indian Muslims, made with a mix of spices, rice, meat, fish, eggs, and vegetables. So, this is essentially a Malaysian-style twist on claypot rice, infused with Indian flavors.

The culinary delights don’t stop there! What’s shown above are the special dishes from the Valentine’s Day Dinner Buffet, but there are also plenty of other offerings from the regular Dinner Buffet. You can enjoy meats, noodles (including pasta), salads, fruits, desserts, coffee, and much more. MR Rossham Rusli, an Executive Chef with work experience at hotels in Japan. I thought the Poached Salmon in Consomme was interesting. My husband seems to like that flavor.
