PARKROYAL Serviced Suites Kuala Lumpur [Hotel in Malaysia]
Within walking distance of the bustling Bukit Bintang district in Kuala Lumpur.
Trendy Changkat (Changkat) bar street and the bustling Jalan Alor hawker centre are just steps away.
Hello! I’m Aya, a Japanese wife.
Autumn has arrived in Japan! It’s getting colder little by little, isn’t it? The fun year-end and New Year holidays are just around the corner, so let’s keep pushing forward. Right now, I’m in the thick of raising my kids in Malaysia. If I had to sum it up in one word: it’s fun, but I’m not getting enough sleep…
Now, let me introduce you to the PARKROYAL Serviced Suites Kuala Lumpur, located in the bustling Bukit Bintang district of Kuala Lumpur’s city center. Its location is incredibly convenient, with easy walking access to Bukit Bintang, Jalan Alor, and Changkat. Whether you’re a traveler or someone living in Malaysia, this hotel is a great place to enjoy your vacation. Since it’s a serviced apartment-style hotel, it’s also highly recommended for long-stay guests. I’ve heard that the rooftop pool offers great views of the KL Tower, but please note that it’s currently under interior renovation and not accessible at the moment. From both the location and room quality, I believe this hotel offers excellent value for money! Let’s go!

■Facilities:
<Pool>

The pool on Level 1. It’s a spacious pool where you can really get in a good swim! It’s the perfect size for me to tone up my postpartum body (lol). There’s also a sky pool on Level 31, but when I visited, it was under renovation and I couldn’t get in. What a shame. You can enjoy a beautiful view of the Kuala Lumpur Tower from there.

<Sky Pool>

That’s what it looks like during the day. The Kuala Lumpur Tower is right in front of us. I hope the construction wraps up soon!!

The above shows the night view.
■ Room:
<Studio Suite>

Here’s the room we stayed in this time. Since it was just my husband, his mother, our child, and me—four of us in total—we also requested an extra bed and a baby crib. Even with two beds added, the space didn’t feel cramped at all, and it was very comfortable. At 54 to 56 square meters, it was truly spacious, practical, and comfortable to stay in.

It also came with a spacious counter kitchen, which was incredibly handy for preparing baby milk in the middle of the night and dealing with lots of luggage. A dream kitchen, indeed~

It comes with an IH cooktop, so you can cook your own meals.

It comes with a bathtub, and hot water is available, so I was able to relax by taking a leisurely soak.
However, be careful not to run the hot water for too long, as the temperature will gradually drop.

Digital clocks are convenient because you can easily check the time even in a dark room at night.
The remote control labeled “TOMATO.” This is the light remote. In Japan, when sleeping with a ceiling light, you’d typically use a remote to turn the light off, but here, most places rely on wall-mounted switches, which is quite inconvenient. Here, you can turn the lights on and off with the remote, which is super convenient! I’ve stayed in dozens of hotels across Malaysia, but this is the first time I’ve encountered a hotel with a light remote.

<One Bedroom Premier Suite>

<Two-Bedroom Suite>

It comes with two rooms and boasts a spacious 87 square meters! The layout includes a living room, dining area, a bathtub, and a separate kitchen. This unit also features a washer, dryer, and a sunroom. It’s the perfect choice for long-stay guests, as it’s packed with all the essential amenities.
<Two Bedroom Premier Suite>

<Three Bedroom Suite Tree Bedroom Suite>

As you might expect, this is an even more spacious room at 96 square meters! It’s truly a dream apartment. Featuring three bedrooms, the layout includes a living room, dining area, bathtub, and a separate kitchen. Each room is equipped with a king-size bed, a queen-size bed, and two single beds. Perfect for large groups, it offers a fantastic opportunity to experience apartment living abroad!
<Gym>

The gym on Level 1. It’s not particularly large, but it’s a clean, well-air-conditioned facility where you can get a solid workout using its 17 pieces of equipment. If you’re staying at the hotel, make sure to take advantage of the hotel amenities—it’s a great value! Operating hours: 6:00 AM to 12:00 AM.
<Laundry Room and Dryer>

The Studio Suite and One-Bedroom rooms do not have washing machines, so guests who wish to do laundry can use the laundry room on Level 1. Purchase Tokens—special coins used for the washing machines—and insert them to start your wash. Tokens can be purchased at the Guest Services Counter or at the Business Center located on the same floor.
<Playground>

There’s also a kids’ playground next to the pool.
There is also a business center available for guests. Please check the usage guidelines and any important notices before using the facility. It is open on weekdays from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding weekends and public holidays. Tel: +60 3 20841000.
■ Reception and Exterior:
<Reception>

<Lobby>

It’s a relief to see plenty of chairs in the lobby. There’s also a tourist information counter on the left side of the photo. If you’re planning to explore Kuala Lumpur, be sure to stop by!

<Breakfast>

Cheese, sausages, salads, rice, congee, and more—eggs are also prepared to your liking.
