Antong Coffee Mill in Taiping.

My remark: When travel to Taiping, no reason to miss out this place. This coffee factory was founded in 1933 in Taiping and until today still keeping manufacturing coffee even after 86 years. When you arrived, you can smell the strong good aroma coffee in the air and available to see their small operating coffee factory and their store room, like a display exhibition but all real. Antong Coffee Mill 安东咖啡厂 is the only factory almost ‘handmade’ their coffee and located at the Assam Kumbang (三古邦) bridge. If you really want to see the worker making coffee, do visit on a weekday morning, then you can find out the traditional coffee-making process. When driving there, please be careful because the road was tricky and not easy to see the signboard. Their shop will provide the testing of many favorite of coffee pot, yes! you can try all ! even have Durian favorite! Yes, through the free self-service Coffee Tasting, you also can buy. Another visiting point is the villa? cottage area? saying that 孫中山(Sun Yat-sen) and his concubine, 陈粹芬 have been lived here. You can get in this heritage house and feel all the old style furniture and Antong Coffee office. Last but no least, please don’t forget to take picture with art wall at the entrance!

Bukit Larut in Taiping , Perak

My remark : Congratulation to Taiping to become 3rd most sustainable city for living in the world. I traveled to Taiping last OCT 2018 and I really love Taiping with its greenery environment and those trees were really BIG! I will write a travel Blog for Taipng and Sepatang. To climb up Bukit Larut, suggest you to go up in morning time to save more time to go sightseeing other places. Also, this place will be very crowed in weekend, means even sometime you go early in the morning, if the Land Rovers was full then you can’t go up also… Its really not a good system. We also first day went there but full and we went another day… !!!![HATE!!] But, Bukit Larut, is really a good place to relax and enjoy the good view. Especially, if go in morning time, then you can see the fogging view like the picture. Bukit Larut is only one of the travel spot for Taiping, I will introduce other in the future.

Chinese Nasi Lemak in Peel Road, Maluri Cheras

Do you know Peel Road, Maluri Cheras in Kuala Lumpur? In between the bridge which connect Ikea Cheras and Sunway Velocity mall, you can find a Kopitiam (Restaueant) is 皇后茶餐室 (Restaurant Queen’s), an old style local restaurant building. Heard that this local shop and beside the street well known as Peel Road, Hawker street 为食街 for over 40 years. This Peel Road Nasi Lemak (啤律椰漿飯) already opened more than 20 years! What is Chinese Nasi Lemak? Means its with pork. Their signature is fried Chicken, Rendang Chicken (Dry Chicken, only on FRI, SAT, SUN) and Curry boar (mountain pig). Curry boar is very good! 10 side dishes to choose and also very fresh because the owner will cook on the spot depends the situation. Of course beside this stall, there are other like pork noodles, Char Kew Teoh, popiah (pork free), fried noodles etc. Surrounding this area, many new condominium under construction and keeping changing and changing, Hope 皇后茶餐室 (Restaurant Queen’s) and all the shop will keep doing and doing.
